(02566.HK) announced that its independently developed JY47 Injection has obtained implicit approval for clinical trials from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China. The drug is intended for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) with liver fibrosis.
NewTimeSpace: Hangzhou Jiuyuan Genetic Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (02566.HK) issued a voluntary announcement on March 17, 2026, stating that the investigational new drug application for its self-developed JY47 Injection has been granted implicit clinical trial approval by the NMPA.
JY47 Injection is amonoclonal antibody injection targeting SIRPαdeveloped by the Group, intended for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) with liver fibrosis.
SIRPα is a typical inhibitory receptor that binds to its ligand CD47 with high affinity.
Studies have shown that the CD47‑SIRPα signaling pathway plays an important role in immune regulation related to metabolic diseases.
SIRPα antagonists can exert positive effects on the progression of metabolic diseases by modulating immune cell function, improving tissue microenvironment and metabolic homeostasis.
The product has demonstrated promising therapeutic potential inin vitro organoid modelsandin vivo disease modelsof MASH.
