The ChinaAMC Hang Seng Biotech ETF (03069.HK) is a passively managed exchange-traded fund under China Asset Management (Hong Kong), with the investment objective of closely tracking the performance of the Hang Seng Biotech Index. Compiled by Hang Seng Indexes Company on a net total return basis, the index reflects the overall performance of the 30 largest biotech companies listed in Hong Kong that are eligible for Southbound trading, including pre-revenue companies listed under Chapter 18A of the Listing Rules; its constituents span the Hang Seng Industry Classification System sub-sectors of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical distribution, pharmaceutical and biotech contract services, and medical devices and supplies, weighted by freefloat-adjusted market capitalisation with a 10% cap on any single constituent.

AJ Securities believes the US filing marks a key step in the drug's global commercialisation—it is sac-TMT's first marketing application overseas and the first time a Chinese-origin antibody-drug conjugate has been filed in the United States. The filing is based on the global Phase III TroFuse-005 study, which showed that sac-TMT monotherapy extended median progression-free survival from 3.9 to 7.2 months, cutting the risk of progression or death by 41%, and median overall survival from 12.1 to 19.0 months, cutting the risk of death by 32%—making it the first global Phase III TROP2 ADC study to achieve dual overall and progression-free survival benefits in PD-(L)1-pretreated endometrial cancer. Kelun-Biotech originated the drug and licensed rights outside Greater China to Merck in May 2022; four indications are already approved in China.
