The ETF is managed by China Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited and tracks the CME CF Ether-Dollar Reference Rate (Asia Pacific Variant), holding Ether through licensed virtual asset trading platforms. As of 10:46 HKT on September 29, 2026, it had assets of HK$371 million, a net asset value of HK$6.223 per unit and a board lot of 100 units.

Reported by PANews citing SoSoValue data, US spot Ether ETFs took in US$690 million of net inflows in the week of September 21 to 25, led by BlackRock's ETHA at US$326 million and Fidelity's FETH at US$174 million.

Alice Liu, head of research at CoinMarketCap, said that the crypto market's total capitalisation still grew even as the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan raised rates, suggesting markets had partly priced in those policy shifts; the more relevant question now is how higher funding costs will affect market positioning, while the SEC's digital asset "innovation exemption" remains a temporary and conditional arrangement and comprehensive crypto market structure legislation is still incomplete.
