NewTimeSpace News: As of 14:11 on November 2, the ChinaAMC Ether ETF (03046.HK) rose 2.96% to a latest price of HK$5.395. The ETF has traded 449,700 units so far today for a turnover of HK$2.4215 million at an average price of HK$5.385, with a turnover rate of 0.755%. It is up 2.96% so far this week. Its current net asset value per unit is HK$5.2644, and its assets under management stand at HK$314 million.

(Note on scope: the net asset value per unit and assets under management are as of October 30, 2026, with assets under management calculated on 59,600,000 units outstanding at that net asset value; the week-to-date change is measured against the closing price of HK$5.240 on October 30.)

On the news front, cryptocurrencies rebounded modestly in Asian trade on November 2: ether rose as much as 1.14% to US$2,287.18 and bitcoin gained 0.6% to US$78,262.63, both recovering from two-month and six-week lows set last week, with ether having touched about US$2,179 on Friday. The repair in sentiment is tied to how the Binance incident is being handled — the world's largest crypto exchange was hacked last week, with about US$6.3 billion of assets stolen, and the FBI has attributed the breach to North Korea-backed group TraderTraitor, which is linked to the Lazarus Group; after resuming service, Binance saw customers withdraw about US$3.64 billion, or 2.1% of its assets, with withdrawals stabilising after an initial spike. Flows remain weak, however: Farside Investors data show US spot ether ETFs recorded net outflows of about US$431.4 million from October 26 to 30, including US$155.7 million on October 30 alone, a fifth consecutive session of outflows. This week's focus shifts to the US midterm elections on November 3 and October non-farm payrolls due on November 6.

The ChinaAMC Ether ETF (03046.HK) is a spot virtual-asset ETF under China Asset Management (Hong Kong), listed on April 30, 2024, which directly acquires and holds ether and may invest up to 100% of its assets in ether, with results measured by the CME CF Ether-Dollar Reference Rate (Asia Pacific closing); the fund uses the US dollar as its base currency and trades in Hong Kong dollars, with a board lot of 100 units, a management fee of 0.99% a year and no distributions.

A senior researcher at HashKey Group believes the Binance incident has shaken market confidence but has not yet triggered widespread panic or a large, concentrated withdrawal: on one hand, the outflows include normal redemptions and portfolio adjustments; on the other, some investors have not moved funds to other exchanges but have chosen to spread asset risk through self-custody wallets — which helps explain why centralised-exchange outflows and a price recovery have appeared at the same time.
