As of 11:30 on September 23, 2026, the iShares Core MSCI China Index ETF(02801.HK) fell 0.50% intraday, quoted at HK$24.020, with turnover of HK$4.2498 million, volume of 176,800 units and a turnover rate of 0.03%.

NewTimeSpace understands that the ETF, managed by BlackRock Asset Management North Asia, tracks the MSCI China Index and covers large- and mid-cap Chinese companies listed in the A-share, Hong Kong and overseas markets. As of 11:30 HKT on September 23, 2026, it had assets of HK$12.047 billion, a net asset value of HK$24.236 per unit, a dividend yield of 2.04% and a board lot of 200 units.

On the news front, CICC said in a filing that its share-swap absorption of Dongxing Securities and Cinda Securities has entered the share-conversion stage, with its A shares resuming trading on September 23; Dongxing and Cinda will be delisted, and the merged CICC, which will take over all assets, businesses and branches of the two brokers, becomes a leading securities firm with total assets of more than RMB1 trillion. Separately, data from the State Taxation Administration showed A-share average daily turnover reached RMB2.7 trillion in the first eight months, up 72.8% year on year, driving an 82% rise in securities transaction stamp duty.

Goldman Sachs said in a research note that, based on first-half 2026 results of about 6,800 Chinese listed companies across A shares, H shares and ADRs, overall earnings growth accelerated to 24% year on year in the second quarter, the fastest quarterly pace in five years, with 45% of MSCI China Index constituents beating market expectations.
