Amicro: CSRC Seeks Supplementary Filing on Data, Foreign Investment

On 30 October 2026, the CSRC sought supplementary materials from Amicro on technology import/export, data collection, foreign investment and share pledges.

NewTimeSpace News: On 30 October 2026, the International Department of the CSRC issued supplementary materials requirements for the overseas listing filing of Zhuhai Amicro Technology Co., Ltd., asking its lawyers to verify the matters and issue a clear legal opinion. Amicro had previously completed its filing and is now at the confidential-to-public stage.

The CSRC first asked about the business operations and compliance related to "technology import and export" in the company's business scope, and the progress of the partnership term renewal of shareholder Jiangsu Datai Yueda. It also required details of the pricing and basis of equity transfers involving new shareholders in the 12 months before the filing application, the income tax paid by the transferors, and whether the company's apps, mini-programs and official accounts collect and use personal information, and the scale of such data.

The CSRC further asked about foreign investment access, including the operations and compliance of "internet data services" and "medical research and experimental development" in the business scope, and whether they fall within the prohibited or restricted areas of the Negative List for Foreign Investment Access (2024 edition). It also asked whether shares held by shareholders participating in the "full circulation" are pledged, frozen or otherwise defective. Amicro focuses on chip design for mobile robots and passed the HKEX main-board listing hearing in September 2026.
