VivaVision Biotech HKEX IPO filing lapses; both core products enter Phase III clinical trials
NewTimeSpace News: VivaVision Biotech (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. submitted its listing application to HKEX on 13 February 2026, which has lapsed after six months. CICC acted as the original sole sponsor.
Founded in 2016, the Company is a biotech enterprise focused on ophthalmology, specialising in the R&D and commercialisation of innovative ophthalmic therapies. The Company has two core products: VVN461 (high dose), a novel selective dual-target inhibitor of JAK1 and TYK2 with sub-nanomolar potency, which has initiated a Phase III clinical trial for non-infectious anterior uveitis in China and is planned to initiate a Phase III trial directly in the United States; and VVN001, a second-generation LFA-1 antagonist for the treatment of dry eye disease, which has initiated a Phase III clinical trial in China.
In addition to the core products, the Company has six other drug candidates, three of which are in clinical stage. The Company has communicated with the FDA and received confirmation to initiate the Phase III clinical trial of VVN461 (high dose) directly in the US, and plans to submit an IND amendment application in the second quarter of 2026, with the trial initiation expected by the end of 2026.
