NewTimeSpace News: Guangzhou Zhiyi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. filed a listing application with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 18 June, jointly sponsored by Guotou Securities International and Industrial Securities International. The clinical-stage biotech firm specialises in Live Biotherapeutic Products (LBPs), with core asset SK08 targeting irritable bowel syndrome and ulcerative colitis, and SK10 for chemotherapy-induced diarrhoea. As a pioneer of second-generation LBPs in China, it participated in formulating industry standards for Akkermansia muciniphila. The global LBP market reached USD4.7 billion in 2025 and is projected to hit USD7.5 billion by 2030, per Frost & Sullivan data.
NewTimeSpace News: On 18 June 2026, Guangzhou Zhiyi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. submitted its listing application to the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with Guotou Securities International Co., Limited and Industrial Securities International Limited appointed as joint sponsors.
Founded in 2013, the Group is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical enterprise focusing on Live Biotherapeutic Products (LBPs), covering therapeutic areas including gastrointestinal disorders, oncology, cancer treatment-related complications, metabolic diseases and autoimmune diseases.
Its core product SK08 is developed for diarrhoea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome, paediatric rotavirus diarrhoea, ulcerative colitis, and combination therapy with anti-PD-1/L1 monoclonal antibodies for advanced solid tumours. SK10, its key pipeline asset, is an inactivated LBP candidate indicated for the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy-induced diarrhoea.
The Company is a trailblazer in China’s second-generation LBP sector. Its core R&D team has presided over or participated in six national and provincial major scientific research programmes, and the SK08 project received support from the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program). The Group also participated in drafting national industry standards forAkkermansia muciniphila.
