CKLIFE SCIENCES (00775.HK): Cancer Vaccine Data to Debut at SITC 2026

(stock code: 0775) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sequencio Therapeutics Company Limited will present new data from its lead cancer vaccine programmes — the TROP2 circRNA-LNP vaccine and the PD-L1/PRAME dual-antigen vaccine — at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) Annual Meeting 2026 in Phoenix, Arizona.
The studies together provide preclinical support for multiple elements of Sequencio's Prime-Infiltrate-Ignite-Translate (PINT) research framework. The findings demonstrate induction of antigen-specific immune responses, enhanced immune activity within the tumour microenvironment and approaches to addressing immune suppression, while the use of humanised models helps assess the potential translational relevance of these observations. The two programmes take complementary approaches to two key challenges in cancer immunotherapy — generating effective immune recognition of cancer cells and overcoming tumour-mediated immune suppression — with one combining tumour-targeted vaccination with checkpoint inhibition and the other integrating tumour recognition and immune modulation within a single dual-antigen vaccine design.
The Company considers that the findings provide preclinical evidence supporting the intended mechanisms of action of the vaccines and demonstrate how the programmes may generate and sustain anti-tumour immune responses. They may also help inform future clinical development in perioperative settings, where lower tumour burden may give vaccine-induced immunity a greater opportunity to control residual disease.
