WEBX HOLDING (00339.HK): HKEX to suspend its shares on 12 November over insufficient business operations and assets
NewTimeSpace News: On 3 November 2026, WebX Holding Group Limited (00339.HK) disclosed that it received a letter from HKEX on 2 November, under which HKEX decided pursuant to Listing Rule 13.24 that the company had failed to maintain a sufficient level of operations and assets of sufficient value to support its operations so as to warrant continued listing, and that its shares would be suspended under Listing Rule 6.01(3).
HKEX considered that the scale and level of the company's investment operations had declined substantially during the review period, with financial assets falling from HK$17.7 million as at 31 December 2021 to HK$5.4 million as at 30 June 2026, and its portfolio comprising only four identical Hong Kong-listed securities since FY2023. Revenue was minimal during the review period, ranging from HK$73,000 to HK$227,000 per year, with losses and negative operating cash flows in most periods, and net assets declining from HK$19.45 million to HK$7.14 million.
The company may seek a review of the decision with the Listing Committee by 11 November; unless a review is sought, trading in its shares will be suspended on 12 November. If trading remains suspended for 18 consecutive months, HKEX may cancel the listing. The company is reviewing the letter and considering whether to seek a review.
