CARRY WEALTH (00643.HK) terminates share placing agreement amid market conditions
NewTimeSpace News: Carry Wealth Holdings Limited (CARRY WEALTH, 00643.HK) announced that, in view of market conditions, the company and the placing agent mutually agreed on 30 October 2026 (after trading hours) to terminate the placing agreement, effective from that date, with all rights, interests, obligations and liabilities of the parties under the agreement ceasing.
The placing agreement was entered into on 14 July 2026 to strengthen the group's working capital. Given the initial market feedback indicating subdued sentiment and the recent trading price and volume, the board considered it more appropriate to reassess the timing, scale and structure of its fundraising plan rather than proceed at this stage, so as to retain flexibility.
The company said the termination did not arise from any dispute with the placing agent, and the two parties will maintain good cooperation. As no placing shares were allotted or issued, the termination has no impact on the issued share capital, which remains at 899,845,554 shares.
