HUTCHMED (00013.HK): Expert Briefing on Savolitinib Set for 5 November

NewTimeSpace News: On 27 October 2026, HUTCHMED (China) Limited (stock code: 13) announced that it will co-host an online expert briefing with Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited for analysts and investors to discuss the latest Phase III data for savolitinib in MET-driven non-small cell lung cancer presented at the 2026 ESMO Congress; the briefing will be held on Thursday, 5 November 2026 at 4:30 pm Hong Kong time.

Professor Wu Yilong (吴一龙), principal investigator of the SANOVO study, will be the keynote speaker, sharing insights on the latest clinical data and treatment strategies for MET-driven NSCLC. Dr Su Weiguo, the Company's Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer, will join a panel discussion to review the SANOVO China and SAFFRON global data and discuss savolitinib's development progress and global regulatory outlook. The session will be moderated by Mr Peng Yingqi, Citi's Asia healthcare research analyst. Savolitinib is an oral MET tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved in China as Orpathys® for NSCLC with MET exon 14 skipping alterations and conditionally approved for MET-amplified gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. Based on the SACHI study, savolitinib plus Tagrisso® is approved in China for EGFR TKI-treated advanced nonsquamous NSCLC with MET amplification. The SANOVO study enrolled 326 treatment-naïve patients with EGFR mutations and MET overexpression, with investigator-assessed progression-free survival as the primary endpoint.
