ALPHAMAB-B (09966.HK): Anbenitamab Phase III data at ESMO 2026, first-line breast cancer risk cut 54%
NewTimeSpace News: On October 26, 2026, Alphamab Oncology (ALPHAMAB-B, 09966.HK) announced that the latest results of two Phase III clinical studies of Anbenitamab (R&D code: KN026), co-developed with JMT-Bio, a subsidiary of CSPC Group, were presented at the 2026 ESMO Congress as LBA oral presentations.
The KN026-003/Healer study enrolled 885 patients with HER2+ advanced breast cancer and compared the combination with the THP Regimen in the first-line setting. Median PFS assessed by BIRC was not reached versus 14.3 months, reducing the risk of disease progression or death by 54% (HR: 0.46; P<0.0001), with 24-month PFS rates of 58.5% and 34.4%. The results were published simultaneously in the New England Journal of Medicine, and the NDA has been accepted by the NMPA with priority review.
The updated interim OS analysis of the KC-WISE study covered 246 patients with HER2+ gastric cancer or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma who had failed trastuzumab-based treatment. Median OS was 19.6 months versus 9.6 months (HR: 0.39) and median PFS was 7.1 months versus 2.7 months (HR: 0.35). The regimen was approved in China in May 2026 through the priority review pathway.
