BITFIRE GROUP (01611.HK): Digital Asset AUM Reaches US$221m, Up 60.1% QoQ

NewTimeSpace News: On 26 October 2026, Bitfire Group Holdings Limited (stock code: 1611) published a voluntary announcement disclosing key operating data of its digital asset management and trading business as at 30 September 2026.

In asset management, conducted through Bitfire Asset Management (Hong Kong) and Bitfire Quantum Ltd., the Group's digital asset AUM reached about US$221 million as at 30 September 2026, up about 60.1% quarter-on-quarter from about US$138 million at 30 June 2026; AUM was about US$85 million at 31 March 2026.

In trading, the Group provides over-the-counter virtual asset trading through Bitfire Asset Management and Bitfire Trust Company Limited and trades virtual assets on crypto exchanges. Crypto asset trading volume was about US$117 million for the month ended 30 September 2026 and about US$342 million for the three months then ended, up about 362.2% from about US$74 million in the preceding quarter. The number of clients across asset management and crypto asset trading reached 1,058 as at 30 September 2026.

In Japan, the Group's compliant digital asset exchange BitTrade Inc. focuses on crypto asset trading, listing and wallet services; assets under custody and client managed assets totalled about US$113 million as at 30 September 2026, with 306,358 registered users. The Group said it will continue to expand using its SFC Type 1, 4 and 9 licences, its Hong Kong trust company licence and its Japanese crypto asset exchange licence. It cautioned that the operating data are based on a preliminary review of internal management accounts and have not been audited or reviewed by its auditors.
