LIANHUA (00980.HK): Custody of shares terminated
On 12 October 2026, LIANHUA (00980.HK) said the custody deal between Bailian Group and SBGCL ended on 9 October 2026.
NewTimeSpace News: On 12 October 2026, Lianhua Supermarket Holdings Co., Ltd. (00980.HK) announced that, after its announcements of 20 April 2015, 13 May 2026 and 28 August 2026, Bailian Group Co., Ltd. (Bailian Group) and Shanghai Bailian Group Co., Ltd. (SBGCL) entered into a custody agreement in April 2015 under which SBGCL exercised shareholder rights over certain Bailian Group shares, except dividend and disposal rights.
The parties signed a termination agreement on 28 August 2026; SBGCL's board approved it that day and shareholders on 9 October 2026, so all conditions were met.
