CHK OIL (00632.HK): Jin Ailong Re-designated as CEO (China Business), Lam Pui Wang Appointed CEO (Global Business) and Huang Songjian Appointed Chief Risk Officer

NewTimeSpace News: On 31 August 2026, CHK OIL (00632.HK) announced that Mr. Jin Ailong has been re-designated from CEO to CEO (China Business), Mr. Lam Pui Wang has been appointed CEO (Global Business) and Mr. Huang Songjian has been appointed Chief Risk Officer, all effective from 31 August 2026 while continuing as executive directors; Mr. Jin receives HKD 1,320,000 per annum, while Mr. Lam and Mr. Huang each receive HKD 50,000 per month.

NewTimeSpace News: On 31 August 2026, CHK OIL LIMITED (stock code: 00632) announced that, with effect from 31 August 2026, Mr. Jin Ailong has been re-designated from Chief Executive Officer to Chief Executive Officer (China Business), responsible for the Group's overall strategic planning and management and the direction and management of its China business; Mr. Lam Pui Wang has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (Global Business), responsible for overseeing overall day-to-day operations and directing the Group's Hong Kong and international business; and Mr. Huang Songjian has been appointed as Chief Risk Officer. All three will continue to serve as executive directors.

The announcement disclosed that Mr. Jin, aged 53, was appointed as an executive director on 17 April 2023 and as Chief Executive Officer on 4 October 2024, and has served as a vice president of the Group since 11 January 2022, in charge of domestic oil trading. He previously served as a company manager at Lanxing Petroleum Company Limited (Daqing Branch) and as Chief Commercial Officer at Daqing Zhonglan Petrochemical Company Limited. Mr. Jin is entitled to a remuneration of HKD 1,320,000 per annum plus a discretionary bonus.

Mr. Lam, aged 38, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lingnan University and is a seasoned banker with 15 years of experience at leading international and Chinese financial institutions. He is currently a Relationship Manager at CMB International Securities Limited, and previously served as Senior Vice President at China Construction Bank (Asia) Corporation Limited, Assistant Vice President at China CITIC Bank International Limited, and Vice President at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. Mr. Lam is entitled to a monthly remuneration of HKD 50,000 plus a discretionary bonus.

Mr. Huang, aged 55, holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and a Master of Internal Auditing and Management from the University of Essex, and is a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, with more than 20 years of experience in auditing and accounting. He currently chairs Wong Song Jian CPA Practice and serves as an independent non-executive director of VC Holdings Limited (stock code: 821). Mr. Huang is entitled to a monthly remuneration of HKD 50,000 plus a discretionary bonus.

As of the date of the announcement, Mr. Jin held an interest in 4,726,000 shares of the Company, representing approximately 0.49% of the total issued shares. The Board comprises four executive directors, Mr. Yu Zhibo, Mr. Jin Ailong, Mr. Huang Songjian and Mr. Lam Pui Wang, one non-executive director, Mr. Zheng Ye, and three independent non-executive directors, Ms. Zhong Bifeng, Ms. Huang Qingwei and Ms. Chen Yawei.
