CHINA VANKE (02202.HK): Newly disclosed unsettled litigation and arbitration involving about RMB 12.041 billion, equivalent to 10.30% of net assets
NewTimeSpace News: On 27 August 2026, China Vanke Co., Ltd. (stock code: 02202) announced that, from 1 March 2026 to 31 July 2026, the Company and its controlling subsidiaries recorded newly disclosed unsettled litigation and arbitration matters with an aggregate amount in dispute of approximately RMB 12.041 billion, representing 10.30% of the absolute value of the latest audited net assets of the Company.
According to the announcement, there were four cases with individual amounts in dispute of RMB 300 million or above, totaling RMB 4.050 billion, including a financial loan contract dispute of RMB 1.549 billion brought by Guangdong Huaxing Bank Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch against Shenzhen Zhongyi Smart Home Co., Ltd. and others together with China Vanke; an equity transfer contract dispute of RMB 1.272 billion brought by a plaintiff surnamed Feng against Vanke (Chongqing) Enterprise Co., Ltd. and China Vanke; a dispute of RMB 923 million between Beijing Chaoyang Urban Construction Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. and China Vanke; and a construction project construction contract dispute of RMB 306 million brought by the Third Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau against Beijing Juzheng Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. Litigation and arbitration cases with individual amounts below RMB 300 million totaled RMB 7.991 billion.
The Company cautioned that, due to the delivery procedures of judicial authorities, the Company and its controlling subsidiaries may not have received, or may have received with delay, certain legal documents; as some cases are still in progress, the impact on the Company's profits remains uncertain, and the Company will make corresponding accounting treatment in accordance with accounting standards and actual case progress, subject to the audited financial reports. As of the date of the announcement, there are no other litigation or arbitration matters that should be disclosed but have not been disclosed.
