CREALITY (03388.HK): Proposes to acquire land by public tender and invest in additive manufacturing headquarters
NewTimeSpace News: On 26 August 2026, Shenzhen Creality 3D Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 03388) announced that the board has resolved to participate in a public tender for the acquisition of the land use right of a land parcel located in the South China Logistics Park, Minzhi Sub-district, Longhua District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, the PRC (the Proposed Land Acquisition), as part of the Company's investment plan to build its additive manufacturing business headquarters and innovation center (the Proposed Project). The Proposed Project aims to integrate the Group's R&D, product innovation, application development, demonstration, customer service and corporate management functions related to its additive manufacturing business. As of the date of this announcement, the Company has not entered into any formal agreement or contract with the relevant competent government authorities in respect of the Proposed Land Acquisition, which is subject to the outcome of the public tender process and the final approvals of the relevant competent authorities.
The announcement stated that the total investment of the Proposed Project is expected not to exceed RMB 550 million (including the land premium), with the actual investment amount and plan to be determined based on factors including the actual scale and layout of the project, the land ultimately acquired, relevant planning requirements and construction standards. The Company plans to acquire the land use right through a public tender in accordance with applicable PRC laws and regulations, with details such as the specific area, planning parameters, term of the land use right and land premium to be subject to the relevant public tender documents and the final arrangements and approvals of the competent authorities; the consideration and investment will be funded by the Group's internal resources together with external financing.
The Group is principally engaged in the development, manufacturing and sales of consumer-grade 3D printing products and related services, with products and services including 3D printers, 3D printing consumables, 3D scanners, laser engraving machines, accessories and other items, as well as various services provided through the Creality Cloud platform, and operates Nexbie, an overseas e-commerce platform focused on 3D creative finished products. The board considered and approved the Proposed Land Acquisition and the Proposed Project at a board meeting held on 26 August 2026, believing that the proposed transaction is in line with the Company's development strategy and long-term business development, and that the consideration for the Proposed Land Acquisition, to be determined based on the market price of the relevant parcel (assessed by a non-profit valuation institution organized by the municipal natural resources competent authority in accordance with applicable regulations), is fair and reasonable.
