YANCOAL AUS (03668.HK): appoints Nie Ping as Non-Executive Director, Li Ang resigns

NewTimeSpace News: On 19 August 2026, Yancoal Australia Ltd (stock code: 03668) announced the appointment of Ms. Nie Ping as a Non-Executive Director and a member of the Strategy and Development Committee, effective 19 August 2026. Ms. Nie, aged 49, commenced her career at China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. in 2001, serving successively as division head in the Investment and Financing Business Department, Asset Management Business Department, Investment and Asset Management Department and Strategic Client Department III, assistant general manager of the Heilongjiang Branch, and deputy general manager of Strategic Client Department IV, primarily responsible for investment business with extensive experience in M&A and restructuring.

According to the announcement, Mr. Li Ang has resigned as Non-Executive Director and a member of the Strategy and Development Committee due to changes in internal work arrangements at China Cinda, effective 19 August 2026. Mr. Li was appointed as Non-Executive Director in February 2025 and has confirmed there is no disagreement with the Board. Ms. Nie has entered into an appointment letter with the Company with an indefinite term and will not receive any directors' fees or remuneration as a Non-Executive Director. Following the appointment, the Board comprises one Executive Director, five Non-Executive Directors and three Independent Non-Executive Directors, with independent directors constituting one-third of the Board, in compliance with Rule 3.10A of the Listing Rules.
