HKEX(00388.HK): 2026 Interim Report - Profit Attributable to Shareholders stood at HKD 10.57 billion, YoY increase of 24.05%

NewTimeSpace News: August 19, 2026, HKEX(00388.HK) released its Interim Report for the period ended December 31, 2026, Total Revenue stood at HKD 13.98 billion, increased by 26.7% YoY; Net Profit stood at HKD 10.6 billion, YoY increase of 23.78%; Profit Attributable to Shareholders stood at HKD 10.57 billion, YoY increase of 24.05%; Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at HKD 8.36.

In terms of profitability, HKEX net profit changed from HKD 8.56 billion in the same period last year to HKD 10.6 billion in the current period, increased by HKD 2.04 billion; net profit margin changed from 77.6% in the same period last year to 75.81% in the current period, decreased by 1.79 percentage points.

In terms of earnings quality, HKEX Operating Profit changed from HKD 10.2 billion in the same period last year to HKD 12.63 billion in the current period, increased by HKD 2.44 billion; Operating Profit Margin changed from 92.41% in the same period last year to 90.37% in the current period, decreased by 2.03 percentage points.

In terms of financial soundness, HKEX Debt-to-Asset Ratio changed from 86.48% in the same period last year to 89.44% in the current period, increased by 2.96 percentage points; Total Equity changed from HKD 57.451 billion in the same period last year to HKD 60.951 billion in the current period, increased by HKD 3.5 billion; Current Liabilities changed from HKD 364.7 billion in the same period last year to HKD 513.31 billion in the current period, increased by HKD 148.61 billion.
