CHINA WATER (00855.HK): Shao Ziming Resigns as Independent Non-Executive Director; Wu Zhijun Appointed

NewTimeSpace News: On 18 August 2026, China Water Affairs Group Limited (stock code: 00855) announced the resignation of Mr. Shao Ziming as an independent non-executive director and a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees, effective 18 August 2026, as he decided to devote more time to personal affairs. Mr. Shao confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board.

Ms. Wu Zhijun has been appointed as an independent non-executive director and a member of the three committees, effective the same day. Ms. Wu, aged 53, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Peking University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with 20 years of experience in the debt capital markets, having served as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in charge of its China debt capital markets business. Her annual director's fee is HKD 300,000.
