XIAOMI-W (01810.HK): changes in joint company secretaries and authorized representatives, waiver from Listing Rules company secretary requirements
NewTimeSpace News: On 18 August 2026, Xiaomi Corporation (stock code: 1810) announced that Mr. Liu Hao has resigned as joint company secretary, and Ms. So Ka Man of external corporate services provider Tricor Professional Business Services Limited has resigned as joint company secretary, authorized representative and authorized representative for service of process, all effective 18 August 2026.
According to the announcement, Ms. Gao Yuan has been appointed as joint company secretary, and Ms. Chan Hiu Lam of Tricor Professional Business Services Limited has been appointed as the other joint company secretary, authorized representative and authorized representative for service of process, effective 18 August 2026. Ms. Gao is the Company's investor relations director and previously worked at Citi Global Markets Asia Limited in the investment banking division up to the rank of director; Ms. Chan is a company secretarial services manager with over 10 years of experience in the company secretarial field, being a fellow of the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and The Chartered Governance Institute (UK).
As Ms. Gao does not currently possess the formal company secretary qualifications required under Rule 3.28 of the Listing Rules, the Company has applied for and the Stock Exchange has granted a waiver from strict compliance with Rules 3.28 and 8.17, effective for three years from her appointment, subject to the conditions that Ms. Gao is assisted by the qualified Ms. Chan during the waiver period and the waiver may be revoked in case of serious breach of the Listing Rules.
