BQD (03866.HK): Regulatory Approval for Zhang Shixing's Independent Non-Executive Director Qualification, Effective 10 August 2026

NewTimeSpace News: On 12 August 2026, Bank of Qingdao Co., Ltd. (stock code: 03866) announced that the Qingdao Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration has approved Mr. Zhang Shixing's qualification to serve as an independent non-executive director of the Bank (Qing Jin Fu [2026] No. 158).

Pursuant to relevant regulations, Mr. Zhang assumed office from 10 August 2026 as an independent non-executive director of the Bank, chairman of the Audit Committee, member of the Remuneration Committee, member of the Nomination Committee and member of the Related Party Transactions Control Committee. With effect from Mr. Zhang's appointment, Mr. Fan Xuejun ceased to serve as an independent non-executive director of the Bank and in related positions on the Board's special committees.
