JINTAI ENERGY H (02728.HK): Revised Expected Timetable for Share Consolidation, Circular to Be Despatched on 21 August, Consolidation Effective 15 September
NewTimeSpace News: On 11 August 2026, Jintai Energy Holdings Limited (stock code: 02728) announced a revised expected timetable in respect of the proposed share consolidation, proposed change in board lot size and proposed amendments to the convertible notes. The company expects to despatch a circular to shareholders on or before 21 August 2026, containing details of the fourth supplemental deed, the special mandate, the share consolidation and the change in board lot size.
According to the revised timetable, the latest time for lodging transfer documents will be 4:30 p.m. on 4 September 2026, and the register of members of the company will be closed from 7 September to 10 September 2026 (both days inclusive), with the extraordinary general meeting expected to be held at 10:30 a.m. on 10 September. The share consolidation is expected to take effect on 15 September, with trading in consolidated shares commencing at 9:00 a.m. on the same day; the existing counter for trading existing shares (in board lots of 4,000 existing shares and in the form of existing share certificates) will be temporarily closed, while the temporary counter for trading consolidated shares (in board lots of 200 consolidated shares and in the form of existing share certificates) will open, and free exchange of existing share certificates for new certificates of consolidated shares will commence.
The effective date for the change in board lot size from 4,000 existing shares per board lot to 5,000 consolidated shares per board lot will be 29 September, when the existing counter for trading consolidated shares (in the form of new share certificates) will reopen at 9:00 a.m., and parallel trading of consolidated shares (in both existing and new certificate forms) and the matching service of the designated broker for odd lots of consolidated shares will also commence. The designated broker will cease its odd-lot matching service and the temporary counter will close on 21 October, and the latest time for free exchange of existing certificates for new certificates of consolidated shares will be 4:30 p.m. on 23 October.
