BAIRONG-W (06608.HK): Renamed Bairong AI Inc., Stock Short Name to Change to BAIRONG AI-W
NewTimeSpace News: On 11 August 2026, Bairong AI Inc. (stock code: 06608, formerly Bairong Inc.) announced the completion of its name change and stock short name change arrangements. The Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands issued a certificate of change of name on 3 July 2026, confirming that the company's English name has been changed from "Bairong Inc." to "Bairong AI Inc.". The Companies Registry in Hong Kong also issued a certificate of registration of change of name of registered non-Hong Kong company on 27 July 2026, confirming that the company's registered English name in Hong Kong has been changed to "Bairong AI Inc." and its Chinese name from "Bairong Yun Chuang" to "Bairong Zhineng".
With effect from 9:00 a.m. on 14 August 2026, the English stock short name for trading the company's shares on the Stock Exchange will be changed from "BAIRONG-W" to "BAIRONG AI-W", and the Chinese stock short name from "Bairong Yun-W" to "Bairong Zhineng-W", while the stock code remains unchanged. The Board considers that the change of name more accurately reflects the substance of the Group's AI business centred on AICC (AI Contact Center), which, based on the Group's self-developed AI VoiceGPT technology, provides intelligent marketing, intelligent operations and intelligent customer service solutions for clients in logistics, telecommunications operators, brokers, banks and other scenarios, and is intended to clearly communicate the Group's strategic direction of empowering industry clients with artificial intelligence.
The change of company name and stock short name will not affect any rights of shareholders or the daily operations of the company. All existing share certificates printed with the former names will continue to be valid certificates of title for the shares and will remain effective for trading, settlement, registration and delivery of an equal number of shares under the new name. The company will not make any arrangements for free exchange of existing certificates for new ones.
