WK GROUP (02535.HK): Appoints Shousheng Capital as Independent Financial Adviser to Advise on Fairness and Reasonableness of the Offer
NewTimeSpace News: WK Group (Holdings) Limited (stock code: 02535) announced that the board of directors is pleased to announce that Shousheng Capital Group Limited has been appointed as the Company's independent financial adviser to advise the independent board committee on the Offer, and in particular, whether the Offer is fair and reasonable and whether to accept the Offer. This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code.
The announcement referred to the joint announcement dated 4 August 2026 issued by the Company and WellLuck Limited pursuant to Rule 3.5 of the Takeovers Code. Shousheng Capital Group Limited is a licensed corporation permitted to carry out Type 1 (dealing in securities) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Its appointment as the independent financial adviser has been approved by the independent board committee pursuant to Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code. The opinion letter of Shousheng Capital Group Limited in respect of the Offer will be included in the composite document.
