LYGEND RESOURCE(02245.HK): Phase‑II KPS Project of RKEF Facility Reaches Full Production, Annual Capacity Hits 185,000 Metal Tons of Ferronickel
NewTimeSpace News: Lygend Resource (02245.HK) released a voluntary announcement on 5 August 2026. All production lines of the Phase‑II KPS Project under the RKEF facility, jointly invested by the Company and local partners on Obi Island, Indonesia, officially attained designed capacity and achieved full production on 1 August 2026. The KPS Project comprises 12 production lines with a designed annual capacity of 185,000 metal tons of ferronickel.
Following full production of the KPS Project, all production lines of the Obi Project have entered full‑capacity operation. The facility now stably delivers a scaled annual production capacity of 400,000 metal tons of nickel. According to the Company, further release of overall scale benefits will lay a solid foundation for deepening cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, optimising resource allocation and strengthening core competitiveness, and will drive steady improvement in the Company’s profitability and industry influence.
