DATANG RENEW (01798.HK): Chairman Ying Xuejun Resigns; Zhao Gang Nominated as Successor Executive Director

NewTimeSpace News: DATANG RENEW(01798.HK) released an announcement on 5 August 2026. Due to work‑related adjustment, Mr. Ying Xuejun intends to resign from his posts as Chairman, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board Strategy Committee of Datang Renewable, with effect from the date when the new director is appointed by the shareholders’ meeting. Mr. Ying Xuejun has confirmed that there is no disagreement with the Board.

Meanwhile, Mr. Zhao Gang is nominated as candidate for Executive Director, which shall take effect upon shareholders’ approval at the shareholders’ meeting. Aged 55, Mr. Zhao Gang holds a Master of Engineering degree in Power System and Automation from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology, Tsinghua University, and is a Senior Economist. As Executive Director of Datang Renewable, Mr. Zhao Gang will receive remuneration based on his actual position and will not receive separate director’s emoluments.
