STANCHART(02888.HK): 2026 Interim Report - Profit Attributable to Shareholders stood at USD 3.65 billion, YoY increase of 10.4%

NewTimeSpace News: July 29, 2026, STANCHART(02888.HK) released its Interim Report for the period ended December 31, 2026, Total Revenue stood at USD 11.6 billion, increased by 6.4% YoY; Net Profit stood at USD 3.67 billion, YoY increase of 10.37%; Profit Attributable to Shareholders stood at USD 3.65 billion, YoY increase of 10.4%; Basic Earnings Per Share (EPS) stood at USD 1.52.

In terms of profitability, STANCHART Net Interest Income changed from USD 3.04 billion in the same period last year to USD 3 billion in the current period, decreased by USD 43 million; net profit changed from USD 3.33 billion in the same period last year to USD 3.67 billion in the current period, increased by USD 345 million; net profit margin changed from 30.5% in the same period last year to 31.64% in the current period, increased by 1.14 percentage points. 

In terms of earnings quality, STANCHART Operating Profit changed from USD 4.3 billion in the same period last year to USD 4.8 billion in the current period, increased by USD 497 million; Operating Profit Margin changed from 39.46% in the same period last year to 41.37% in the current period, increased by 1.91 percentage points; Net Cash Flow from Operating Activities changed from cash inflow of USD 26.23 billion in the same period last year to cash inflow of USD 3.34 billion in the current period, decreased by USD 22.89 billion; Ratio of Net Cash Flow from Operating Activities to Total Operating Revenue changed from 240.52% in the same period last year to 28.76% in the current period, decreased by 211.76 percentage points. 

In terms of financial soundness, STANCHART Debt-to-Asset Ratio changed from 94.02% in the same period last year to 94.37% in the current period, increased by 0.36 percentage points; Total Equity changed from USD 54.67 billion in the same period last year to USD 55.893 billion in the current period, increased by USD 1.22 billion; Cash and Cash Equivalents changed from USD 105.251 billion in the same period last year to USD 114.122 billion in the current period, increased by USD 8.87 billion.
