HAINA INTEL (01645.HK): Establishes Joint Laboratory with Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Focusing on Industrial Embodied Intelligence Applications
NewTimeSpace News: On 24 July 2026, Haina Intelligent Equipment International Holdings Limited (01645.HK) issued a voluntary announcement. The Company, its non-wholly-owned subsidiary Jinjiang Yuanshu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and the Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics have agreed to establish a joint laboratory for intelligent production line robots for a cooperation period of three years. The joint laboratory will conduct research, development and achievement transformation targeting intelligent production line upgrading, industrial embodied intelligence applications, visual inspection and digital twin technologies.
Founded in 2019, the Shenzhen Institute is one of the city’s top ten municipal fundamental research institutions established by the Shenzhen Municipal Government in conjunction with The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. It focuses on fundamental theories and original technological research in artificial intelligence and robotics, and promotes the application and translation of intelligent technologies in medical care, intelligent manufacturing, urban services and sustainable development.
The Board believes that cooperation with the Shenzhen Institute enables the Company to leverage top-tier scientific research resources to strengthen core capabilities in intelligent manufacturing, aligns with the Group’s long-term development strategy and is expected to generate additional returns for the Group.
