(03378.HK) announced that it has formally signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build a Joint Laboratory for AI-Driven Drug Discovery with the Frontier Interdisciplinary Research Center of HUST-CityU Advanced Research Institute. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation focusing on antibody discovery and molecular design to jointly establish a new generation AI-powered innovative drug research and development paradigm.
NewTimeSpace News: Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. issued a voluntary announcement dated 7 July 2026. To give full play to the strengths of industry-university-research integration and accelerate biomedical innovation, the Company recently executed the Cooperation Agreement for the Joint Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence Drug Discovery with the Frontier Interdisciplinary Research Center of HUST-CityU Advanced Research Institute.
Relying on the AI platform owned by the Frontier Interdisciplinary Research Center and Hanx Biopharmaceuticals’ extensive experience in novel drug development as well as in-depth insights into disease areas, both sides will conduct profound collaboration centred on antibody discovery and molecular design.
The cooperation covers two core segments:AI-assisted antibody optimisation: Adopt multi-scale molecular dynamics simulation and deep learning models to digitally screen antibody libraries and predict affinity maturation, shortening the antibody discovery cycle.Intelligent molecular design and development: Co-develop generative AI models for de novo design of cutting-edge molecules, speeding up identification of lead candidate molecules with the greatest therapeutic potential.
This collaboration will streamline the Company’s antibody screening and molecular optimisation workflows, boost R&D efficiency and clinical success rates, and expedite its progress on first-in-class and best-in-class drug pipelines.
