BOC Aviation (02588.HK): Purchase Three Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft from Qatar Airways and Enter into Sale-and-Leaseback Arrangement

NewTimeSpace News: On June 30, 2026, BOC Aviation (02588.HK) issued an announcement stating that the Company entered into a suite of agreements with Qatar Airways on June 29, 2026, pursuant to which it will purchase three Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and conduct sale-and-leaseback with Qatar Airways. All three aircraft were delivered by the end of 2025. Qatar Airways is a third party independent of the Company and its connected persons.

Under the Listing Rules, this transaction constitutes a qualifying aircraft leasing activity. As the relevant percentage ratios are more than 5% but less than 25%, the transaction is a discloseable transaction, yet exempt from the requirements for announcement, circular and shareholder approval.
