DT Capital (00356.HK) Signs Strategic MOU with Laplace Lab for Decentralized Prediction Market Tech
DT Capital Limited (356.HK) announced on June 25, 2026, that the Board is pleased to announce that on June 25, 2026, the Company entered into a strategic cooperation memorandum (the "Strategic Cooperation Memorandum") with Laplace Lab Limited ("Laplace Lab"). Laplace Lab is a limited liability company established in Hong Kong and is the sole designated technology developer of the decentralized prediction market platform SigMarket. Under the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum, both parties will jointly explore the application of decentralized prediction market technology in enterprise risk management, internal decision support, and scenario analysis. The parties will study the application of decentralized prediction market technology in enterprise-level risk management scenario simulation, with a focus on developing enterprise risk management analysis tools, exploring the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to customize personalized risk management solutions, and researching the application of such technologies in internal scenario planning, resilience management, and decision support.
All work to be carried out under the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum (including discussions, research, or testing of real-world asset (RWA) applications, if any) is limited to internal research, technology assessment, risk management, and proof-of-concept, and is for internal enterprise use only. The Strategic Cooperation Memorandum does not constitute legally binding obligations on the parties. The parties may separately negotiate and enter into formal cooperation agreements for subsequent specific projects.
Laplace Lab is a limited liability company established in Hong Kong. To the best of the directors' knowledge, information, and belief after making all reasonable enquiries, Laplace Lab and its ultimate beneficial owners are independent third parties.
The Board believes that this cooperation will help the Company explore innovative applications in enterprise risk management and decision-making, and enhance its internal risk management and scenario analysis capabilities. The Board also considers the Strategic Cooperation Memorandum to be fair and reasonable and in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders. As of the date of this announcement, the cooperation is not expected to have a material impact on the Group's financial performance for the current year.
