The principal shareholder together with 20 identified shareholders hold an aggregate of 91.69% of issued share capital, leaving only 8.31% in the hands of other investors. NewTimeSpace News: On 25 June 2026, the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong issued an announcement stating that the shareholding of Transtech Optelecom Science Holdings Limited (09963.HK) became concentrated in a small number of shareholders as at 16 June 2026.
Investigation results show that 20 shareholders collectively hold 55,274,000 shares, representing 18.49% of the issued share capital. Another 23,848,000 shares (7.98%) are registered on the Hong Kong register but not deposited with the Central Clearing and Settlement System. Together with the 195,000,000 shares (65.22%) held by the principal shareholder, Futong Optical Fibre (Hong Kong) Limited, the aggregate shareholding amounts to 91.69% of issued capital, with merely 8.31% held by other shareholders.
The closing price of the Company’s stock climbed 513.57% from HK$1.99 on 10 April 2026 to HK$12.21 on 16 June. It closed at HK$10.22 on 24 June, still up 413.57% compared with the price on 10 April.
The SFC reminds investors that given the highly concentrated shareholding structure, the share price may experience extreme volatility even on minimal trading turnover. Shareholders and investors should exercise prudence when trading the stock.
