Sige New Energy (06656.HK): Change of Board Secretary and Joint Company Secretary, Exemption from Compliance Requirements Granted by HKEX

NewTimeSpace News: On June 17, 2026, Sige New Energy (06656.HK) issued an announcement stating that Mr. Huang Xueqi has resigned from his positions as Board Secretary and Joint Company Secretary with effect from June 17, 2026, so as to devote more time to his duties as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Qin Xing was appointed as Board Secretary and Joint Company Secretary on the same date, while Ms. Lai Ho Yan will continue to serve as the other Joint Company Secretary. According to the announcement, as Mr. Qin does not yet hold the qualifications prescribed under Rule 3.28 of the Listing Rules, HKEX has granted an exemption from strict compliance with the aforesaid rule for a period of three years commencing on his appointment date, during which Ms. Lai will assist him in discharging his secretarial duties.
