SIGENERGY (06656.HK): Chinese Name Changed, Code and Ticker Unchanged

NewTimeSpace News: On 29 September 2026, Sigenergy Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 06656.HK) announced that the Company completed the industrial and commercial change registration procedures and obtained a new business licence issued by the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation on 27 August 2026. Its Chinese name has been changed from 思格新能源(上海)股份有限公司 to 思格新能源股份有限公司, while its English name remains unchanged as Sigenergy Technology Co., Ltd.

The Company obtained the Certificate of Registration of Alteration of Name of Registered Non-Hong Kong Company issued by the Registrar of Companies in Hong Kong on 25 September 2026, confirming that its Chinese name registered in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622) was changed from 思格新能源(上海)股份有限公司 to 思格新能源股份有限公司, with the English name unchanged. Following the change of company name, the Company's stock code and stock short names remain unchanged.

The change of company name has not resulted in any change to the stock short name and will not, of itself, affect the rights of existing Shareholders or the Company's daily business operation and financial position. All existing share certificates bearing the former name will continue to be evidence of title and will be valid for trading, settlement, registration and delivery for the same number of Shares in the new name, while any new share certificates will be issued in the new name. There will not be any arrangement for free exchange of the existing share certificates.
