(02367.HK) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Shaanxi Giant Biotech Co., Ltd. has received the Medical Device Registration Certificate issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for its Cross-linked Recombinant Collagen Implant. The product is designed for intradermal dermal injection and filling of the neck to correct moderate-to-severe horizontal neck lines, making it the world’s first cross-linked recombinant Type III collagen filler dedicated to neck wrinkle treatment.
NewTimeSpace News: On 17 June 2026, Giant Biogene Holding Co., Ltd. (02367.HK) released a voluntary announcement, disclosing that Shaanxi Giant Biotech Co., Ltd., its wholly-owned subsidiary, has obtained the Medical Device Registration Certificate for Cross-linked Recombinant Collagen Implant (Registration No.: Guo Xie Zhu Zhun 20263131219) issued by NMPA.
The product adopts the full-length sequence of mature human Type III collagen consisting of 1,068 amino acids, fully retaining the native functional domains of collagen. It is manufactured via a physical cross-linking process free of residual chemical cross-linking agent risks, and is intended for intradermal injection into the dermal layer of the neck to improve moderate and severe horizontal neck wrinkles.
The product was included in NMPA’s priority review pathway for medical devices in December 2024. Upon approval, it becomes the world’s first cross-linked recombinant Type III collagen filler developed specifically for neck wrinkle filling. The Group stated that this approval establishes the Company as the global first enterprise holding both recombinant Type I and Type III collagen implant products, with indications covering two core aesthetic segments: facial wrinkles and neck wrinkles. Two implantable collagen products have previously secured registration approvals for the Group. Recently, the Company’s Collagenic Recombinant Human Type I α1 Collagen Lyophilized Fibers has been officially launched commercially.
