Regent Pacific Group (00575.HK): Senstend™ Approved for Marketing by National Medical Products Administration
NewTimeSpace News: On June 16, 2026, Regent Pacific Group (00575.HK) announced that Senstend™(lidocaine and prilocaine aerosol) has obtained marketing approval from the National Medical Products Administration, accompanied by a four-year data protection term.
The new drug approval triggers a USD 5 million milestone payment from its partner Jiangsu Wanbang Pharmaceutical. An additional USD 2 million payment is expected upon the launch of commercial sales in the second half of the year. Further milestone payments of up to USD 25 million and tiered royalty payments will also become payable in subsequent phases.
Senstend™is entitled to a four-year data protection period, during which the National Medical Products Administration shall not accept generic drug applications that rely on the Group’s clinical data.
