Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (01398.HK): Completes Issuance of RMB 50 Billion Tier 2 Capital Bonds with a Coupon Rate of 1.95%

NewTimeSpace News: On June 15, 2026, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (01398.HK) issued an announcement. The 3rd tranche of 2026 Tier 2 Capital Bonds under the Bond Connect scheme has been successfully issued on the National Inter-bank Bond Market.

The bond issuance size totals RMB 50 billion. It is a 10-year fixed-rate bond with a conditional call option exercisable by the issuer at the end of the fifth year, carrying a coupon rate of 1.95%. The net proceeds after deducting issuance expenses will be used to supplement the Bank's Tier 2 capital.
