Mapletree Industrial Trust sells Philadelphia data center for US$14.5 million

NewTimeSpace News: On May 25, Mapletree Industrial Trust announced that its trustee entered into a sale and purchase agreement with an independent third-party buyer via an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, disposing of a data center property in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the United States at US$14.5 million.

NewTimeSpace News: On May 25, 2026, the manager of Mapletree Industrial Trust announced that the trustee signed the sale and purchase agreement on May 22, 2026 Eastern Standard Time, to sell the data center located at 2000 Kubach Road, Philadelphia for a cash consideration of US$14.5 million.

Ler Lily, Chief Executive Officer of Mapletree Industrial Trust, stated that the disposal forms part of the broader portfolio rebalancing strategy. The proceeds will be redeployed into markets and assets with sustainable growth potential to optimize the portfolio and deliver steady returns to unitholders. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
