Marco Polo Marine's Subsidiary Secures 15-Year Government Charter Contract in Taiwan,Valued at Approximately S$118 Million

NewTimeSpace News:On March 18, 2026, Marco Polo Marine disclosed in an announcement that its indirect subsidiary PKRO has signed a 15-year charter contract with Taiwan's Marine Port Bureau under the Offshore Wind Farm Emergency Towage and Salvage Services Procurement Project. The contract involves the charter of one emergency tugboat or salvage vessel to support Taiwan's maritime emergency response system.

Pursuant to the contract terms, PKRO will provide exclusive emergency towage and salvage services within Taiwan's territorial waters and the surrounding offshore wind farm areas. The vessel is required to operate in severe weather conditions and be on standby at all times to respond to maritime incidents such as vessel breakdowns, groundings and driftings.

The announcement stated that the contract is valued at NT$2.948 billion, equivalent to approximately S$118 million. Sean Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Marco Polo Marine, stated that the award of this contract marks a key breakthrough in the Group's strategic layout in the Taiwan market. Going forward, while helping to enhance Taiwan's maritime safety and support the development of its offshore wind power industry, the Group will deliver stable and long-term returns to its shareholders.
