INT Medical (01501.HK): Completes Placement of 35.2 Million New H Shares, Raising Approximately HK$884 Million in Net Proceeds

Shanghai INT Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. (01501.HK) announced that the previously disclosed share placement was completed on January 22, 2026. The Company successfully placed a total of 35.2 million new H shares at a price of HK$26.00 per share to no fewer than six independent placees. The net proceeds of approximately HK$884 million will be used for business expansion, loan repayment and general working capital.

Shanghai INT Medical Instruments Co., Ltd. (01501.HK) released an announcement on January 22, stating that the placement of new H shares conducted pursuant to the general mandate has been formally completed on January 22, 2026.

Pursuant to the placement agreement, the Company successfully placed an aggregate of 35,200,000 new H shares at a price of HK$26.00 per placed share to no fewer than six independent placees. The placed shares represent approximately 25.25% of the Company’s total issued H shares and about 16.67% of the total issued shares immediately following completion of the placement as at the announcement date.

The gross proceeds from the placement amount to approximately HK$915.2 million, and the net proceeds after deducting related commissions and expenses are about HK$884.3 million. In accordance with the previous plan, the funds are intended to be used as follows: approximately 56.54% (HK$500 million) for investments and potential acquisitions to expand the Company’s product portfolio; approximately 23.75% (HK$210 million) for the repayment of existing interest-bearing bank borrowings; and approximately 19.71% (HK$174.31 million) as working capital and for other general corporate purposes.

The Company stated that it is expected that the net proceeds will be fully utilized on or before 2027, and emphasized that no specific investment and acquisition targets in the medical device industry have been identified to date.
