Citi believes TSMC's revenue growth can stay above 40% into 2027, driven by strong AI computing demand, the potential growth runway for AI agents and the emergence of the co-packaged optics (CPO) networking cycle. With major AI chip customers—including Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom—expected to accelerate, TSMC's AI-related revenue growth could nearly double next year, and the market is likely to keep raising its earnings forecasts; supported by the strong revenue outlook, TSMC's capital expenditure could rise to US$81 billion in 2027 and US$90 billion in 2028.
