Information from Eastmoney Research Center shows that the Draft Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on Taxi Services was recently open for public consultation. It proposes to promote the safe application of autonomous driving technology in the taxi industry in an orderly manner in accordance with the law. Transport, public security and other authorities shall provide guidance and services in accordance with the law. Meanwhile, modern information technologies including big data, blockchain and artificial intelligence shall be adopted to expand development and application scenarios, improve the digital and intelligent level of taxi service and administration, and encourage and support the innovative application of new technologies, new energy sources and new equipment in the taxi sector.
XPENG-W (09868.HK) Focuses on the full-stack in-house R&D and large-scale deployment of end-to-end autonomous driving foundational models for mass-produced vehicles. Its proprietary XNGP (Advanced Driver Assistance System) has completely decoupled from high-definition maps, demonstrating exceptional generalization capabilities in complex urban NOA (Navigation Guided Pilot) scenarios. The activation rate of advanced ADAS and the mileage penetration rate among users of newly delivered models remain at the industry forefront, providing a highly deterministic benchmark for vehicle-side AI application delivery.
