NewTimeSpace understands that Csop Hang Seng Tech Index Etf (03033.HK) is managed by CSOP Asset Management Limited, with an investment objective of providing investment results that closely track the performance of the Hang Seng TECH Index, before fees and expenses. The ETF primarily adopts a full replication strategy, investing all or substantially all of its assets directly in Index securities in broadly the same proportions as their weightings in the Index; under exceptional circumstances such as restrictions, trading suspensions or limited availability of certain Index securities, it may switch to a representative sampling strategy. Investments in other collective investment schemes are capped at 10% of net asset value; the ETF does not invest in derivatives for investment or hedging purposes, and cash and money market fund holdings may not exceed 5% of net asset value. It may engage in securities lending of up to 50% of net asset value, with an expected level of around 20%. The Hang Seng TECH Index represents the 30 largest Hong Kong-listed companies highly relevant to the technology theme after screening. As of October 22, 2026, its top ten constituents were NETEASE, XIAOMI-W, MEITUAN-W, ALIBABA-W, TENCENT, BYD COMPANY, SMIC, LENOVO GROUP, JD-SW and BIDU-W, together accounting for 73.13%. HKEX also announced an authorisation agreement with China Southern Fund Management Co., Ltd. to launch an ETF in the mainland tracking the HKEX AI Index.
Bernstein believes that AI capital expenditure by domestic cloud service providers and telecom operators remains in a high-growth range, with combined capex at ALIBABA-W, TENCENT and BIDU-W up about 70% year-on-year in 2025 and a market consensus of roughly 80% further growth in 2026; AI server shipments had previously been constrained by AI chip supply, and with domestic AI chip capacity coming on stream, the AI server market is expected to reach an inflection point in the second half of 2026.
