According to the Chinese government website, China's State Council executive meeting said it will step up counter-cyclical macro policy adjustment, roll out a batch of practical and effective incremental policies, optimise fiscal spending, make good use of the unused local government debt quota, and study policies to stabilise the property market and boost employment and incomes.

China Merchants Fund said in an interview with Securities Times that the latest A-share pullback reflects a combination of short-term factors — pre-holiday risk aversion, profit-taking after strong gains and higher overseas interest rates — and is a technical retreat driven by sentiment and liquidity rather than a reversal in fundamentals.
