Soochow Securities noted in a research report that mainland insurers previously invested in Hong Kong-listed ETFs mainly through the QDII scheme, while the Stock Connect channel does not use QDII quota and allows more flexible allocation sizes; Stock Connect ETFs include cross-border products, providing a new channel for mainland insurers' overseas investment.
