In U.S. dollar terms, auto exports for the first two months surged 67.1% year-on-year. Additionally, statistics from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) reveal that domestic new energy passenger vehicles captured a 28.3% share of overseas sales in January, representing a month-on-month increase of 7.5 percentage points.

On the news front, NIO reported an operating profit of RMB 1.25 billion for the fourth quarter of 2025, marking the company's first quarterly profit in its history, with total revenue reaching approximately RMB 34.65 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 75.9%.

Following passenger electric vehicles, Chinese electric freight trucks are accelerating their entry into the European market this year. BYD, Sany Heavy Industry, and four other Chinese automakers have confirmed plans to launch heavy-duty electric trucks in Europe in 2026.
