Guoyuan Securities noted that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the official release of the mandatory national standard Safety Requirements for Autonomous Driving Systems of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles. The standard sets requirements covering four dimensions: full-lifecycle safeguards for enterprises, dynamic driving tasks of systems, human-machine interaction and user notification, as well as inspection and testing methods. It explicitly stipulates that Level 3 intelligent driving systems shall be equipped with a monitoring function for drivers’takeover capability.
