III. AI Industry & Corporate Developments

1. XIAOMI Auto Delivers More Than 50,000 Vehicles in October, Its Highest Monthly Level This Year

On November 1, Xiaomi Auto announced that it delivered more than 50,000 vehicles in October 2026. Based on the company's monthly disclosures, deliveries exceeded 39,000 units in January 2026, 20,000 in both February and March, 30,000 in each month from April to August, and 40,000 in September, before exceeding 50,000 units in October for the first time this year, the highest monthly level of 2026. On the product side, the two new models of its Pengcheng series, the N90 Max and N70 Pro, were launched and began deliveries in September and, together with the SU7 and YU7, form two product lines.

2. Reports Say HORIZONROBOT's HSD Enters BYD's God's Eye B Solution, with the First Model Due in November

According to a report by Lanjinger, following the God's Eye C solution, HORIZONROBOT-W (09660.HK) chips and its HSD urban assisted driving system have entered BYD's higher-tier God's Eye B solution. God's Eye B mainly targets selected high-end models under the Denza and BYD brands, and the first model carrying the solution is expected to launch in November. The report also noted that the volume and model planning will be decided by the automaker, and the split between Horizon's solution and BYD's in-house system has not been fixed. HSD is built on the Journey 6P computing platform and is the company's full-scenario assisted driving solution for urban environments.

3. UBTECH ROBOTICS Releases the Thinker-Sim Embodied AI Simulation Platform

On November 2, UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880.HK) released Thinker-Sim, an embodied AI simulation platform built around a Real2Sim2Real approach. The platform offers an integrated system covering digitalisation of real-world scenes, large-scale synthetic simulation data and robot capability evaluation, addressing pain points such as the high cost of real-world data collection, the complexity of building simulation environments and long algorithm validation cycles. Through 3D reconstruction of real scenes and multi-asset simulation, it maps the physical world into simulation and supports multimodal perception, navigation and manipulation simulation for scaled deployment validation in industrial manufacturing and commercial services.

4. NVIDIA Shows Its Next-Generation CPO Prototype Named OOI

According to media reports, at SEMICON West 2026 in San Francisco on October 30, NVIDIA presented a next-generation co-packaged optics prototype named OOI (Optics-on-Interposer). NVIDIA said it has received prototype samples but has not published a commercialisation timetable.

5. DeepSeek Publishes Its Super-agent Architecture and Open-Sources the Prototype

On the evening of October 31, the DeepSeek Harness team published a technical article introducing Super-agent, an architecture for autonomous agents, and open-sourced the related prototype. The design uses a two-tier Router and Worker structure: the Router runs continuously as a global coordinator, receiving messages from group chats, code hosting platforms and email and dispatching tasks, while Workers keep separate contexts and run reproduction, code review and feature development in parallel, calling sub-agents when needed. Event-driven logic and a two-stage filter let the system spot potential defects without being summoned and attempt reproduction and fixes in the background, supported by asynchronous multi-channel interaction, storage-compute separation and an external watchdog for self-healing. DeepSeek said an internal instance built on the architecture is already running in daily development.
